Creating art has always been natural to me.
During free time in kindergarten, I always bee lined it to the art station. The little pull down paper roll on the plastic easel, and painted, to the point I remember my teachers encouraging me to try other activities. My parents were in tune with this nature in me, and put me into an art school in sixth grade. This changed my life forever.
During my pregnancy with my baby daughter, I felt the constant pull back to art. Each time I prayed for guidance, God told me, “Create Art” so clearly, time and time again. So I suppose I better listen. Now, I’ve illustrated my first children’s book, Eliza Picklepear, written by my late Mom, and am illustrating as often as possible. I simply want to chase wonder, and whimsy, and if I can’t find it, I’ll create it.
If I can't find whimsy, then I'll create it.

I’m a filmmaker, artist, wife, and mother, among other things…
I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband and little girl. My husband and I own a film production company and do film work by day, and I create art by night. We’re both passionate storytellers, and met at film school acting in plays and films together. My family is a huge inspiration for me, I love to create art my daughter and husband can enjoy.
In my free time, I love to hike and camp with friends, I’ll take any opportunity to be outdoors communing with nature. You can often find me posted in the corner of a coffee shop working on my latest project or reading a fantasy novel. I also play dungeons and dragons on a weekly basis and act on a D&D podcast called House of Homebrew.
